I was walking through the old city center of Cordoba, Spain when I came across this remarkable work of art. As a cat lover, it was of course the black cat on the roof that drew my attention. The artwork was made entirely made out of metal, but the cat almost seemed alive.
The artwork as a whole struck me as playful and reminded me of artworks by Wassili Kandinsky.
The wall you see above formed part of a larger whole. A wall to the left of this one displayed a ton of birds, also crafted out of metal. Then there was this other wall that was decorated in the same style as the first one:
Cordoba is a city full of surprises. If you ever get the chance, you should definitely visit it!
